Queen Joann thought this the easiest way to inform you of
what is happening behind the scenes in Red Hatting, if you
have further queries please contact her direct. There
is also information on the Matilda Rose website

Hello Aussie Ladies
For those
Queens that
participated in the Australian Red Hatted Groups of
Australia Survey, the results are now attached for those
that are interested.
Compiled by WA Queen Bev and formulated by Queen Stef (ARHGA
Chairperson), the survey gave all groups an opportunity to
submit their opinion at a time when the RHS is working its
way along a new business path and one that many in Australia
(and elsewhere) are questioning, especially regarding the
Supporting Membership model.
It seems that by keeping communications open the Australian
contingent of red hatters will continue to interact at local
and state level for some time to come, either as being a
registered chapter of the RHS, or not.
Everyone is encouraged to support the Matilda Rose2 website
(
www.matildarose2.com/ )
by sending in articles of your groups activities or
invitations, so that redhat news on a local level can
continue to be generated.
At present there is a special section that is highlighting
any redhatter (Queen or member) that would like to share her
story about red hatting. Please consider sending a
contribution to Annette at
mmrose@ozemail.com.au
who values and appreciates your support.
A reminder is also given about the Public Liability
Insurance that is available to any group (either officially
registered or not). This insurance is for those that want
the opportunity to cover themselves in the case of an
accident or damage to property in their role as an organiser
of a function where it can be proved that someone was
neglectful in that role. For further information please
contact Queen Stef (
haywards@bigpond.net.au
)
The final date for registration
application is 11th June
2009, for commencement of cover from 1st July
2009.
Meanwhile, heres to the continuing sharing of friendships
and fellowships amongst the Australian Redhat Sisters.
On behalf of the ARHGA (United)
(Stef and Bev)
