Fascinating Divas

Fascinating Divas not to be mixed up with the Divine Divas as one of our ladies did.  This Scarlett will remain nameless,  but thought we had a major coup, by not only having breakfast with the Divas but dinner also. Hhhhmmm some explaining set the nameless red hatter straight.

We did have a major coup though,  as we met with the  Fascinating Divas a small chapter of ten  happy, friendly ladies from Melton, a suburb of Melbourne who arrived in Hobart for a girly weekend on Friday.

On arrival they did what every good red hatter does and headed straight for the CBD retail   and shopped till they dropped. They dined at the Fountainside Restaurant on Friday night and said it was a delightful meal and very reasonably priced. They also complimented the staff as they were very well looked after.

Their lovely Queen Lily invited the Scarlett O'Hatters to join them for breakfast at Fountainside on Saturday morning.  Our  future Queen ChrisS, PruB, MargaretZ and Janine met them for a hearty and very reasonably priced breakfast. It was great meeting the ladies who were all excited about getaway weekend. They were looking forward to shopping at Salamanca then dining at Fish 429.

SandraJ and ChrisS  joined the Melton Divas for dinner Saturday night which went very well although the meal came so quickly they were finished by 8.30pm!  Some of the Divas  decided to go back to the hotel as they were "bushed" from  walking all day Saturday, but a few stayed with  Sandra and Chris and went onto the Queen's Head for a few drinks and stayed until the Giant Hampsters Band started playing.  Sandra and three  Divas then left then to go back to the hotel while Chris  stayed on with the other three.  Allan, Chris' husband joined them and they had a great time.  The red hatters danced until pumpkin  time  and even had Allan up dancing  with them.  Though it was very noisy,  they really enjoyed it.

We will look forwarding to them returning one day as they were  such a lovely group of ladies..  So  happy and friendly!
