Second Birthday
Celebrations
We celebrated our
Second Birthday on Friday the 16th at the
Astor Grill. The food was amazing and very plentiful.
The service was superb and we all had a great time.
We started with a
scrumptious birthday cake, followed by three courses -
including another dessert, of course!
Everyone received a
‘little gift` from Queen Julep Magnolia Blossom Joann
a few door prizes were won, and there were some marvellous
handcrafted headwear creations. New member Karel, who
designs the most incredible way-out-there fashions, for
Fashion Fantasia, has arrived at every event she's attended
in a different chapeau...once it was a red/black bicycle
helmet festooned with feathers! Art Tart Rossy wore a
bouquet of fresh flowers, and there were a couple of
fetching tulle numbers as well. It's great to see the
creative juices flowing.
It was a special
night, and sympathies to those who were unable to attend.
You missed a ripper of an affair. A big thanks to the
Princess of All That's Pure, Virginia, for arranging
this memorable evening. We even had a special out-of-town
visitor, Duchess of Wild Women Julia from
Adelaide's Red Hatters Growing Old
Disgracefully Down Under.
