What a brilliant day to take a carriage ride, the
weather was perfect - we felt as if we were stepping back in time,
for just a little while
The carriage ride was not only fun but also
educational, with
Bronwyn
the carriage driver telling us lots about Richmond history. Many
cameras came out as we paraded by in stately fashion, and we regally
smiled and waved as to the manor born.

We returned
to Hatchers Manor for a very nice lunch and a chilled glass
or two, which made for a very convivial day out.

And
didn't we have a hoot of a time with our Maypole dancing! The
maypole kindly organised by Vice Queen Chris. Only
Baroness BevLee if Bare
had the slightest clue of how to dance around
a Maypole, and she had to harken back to when she was eight years
old! So we cavorted and got ribbons mixed up and danced to "Hits
of the 80's"....hardly English Country Garden stuff, but who cared?
And did we laugh? You betcha!!
