Melbourne Cup

Twenty six Scarletts had a lovely afternoon at Hadley’s for the Melbourne Cup. With the eleven Sorell ladies, we were a happy, colourful group of ladies. Everyone looking splendid in their red hats and a few fascinators were to be seen also.  A delightful afternoon tea included scrumptious petit fours and yummy little savouries. We ended up having three sweeps just for the Red Hatters and a lucky door prize,  which was won by Passionate Pamela.  Several of the Red Hat ladies won Hadley’s luck draw prizes, including Tawdry Audrey and  Princess Papillon. Duchess Dragon Fly was one of the lucky winners in their Melbourne Cup Sweep as was Princess Poetica Musicale DianeB. A big thank you to Duchess Dragonfly Sandra   for her great organisational skills and  making sure all went smoothly.
